5 Super Beer Stocking Stuffers

Stocking up on stocking stuffers?  Here are a few sudsy suggestions for the Beer Lovers in your life:

beer-flavored-jelly-beans Always nice to have a few sweets stuffed into your stockings. These Beer Flavored Jelly Belly Jelly Beans come in nifty beer can containers and packs, and if you search around, you can find them in little plastic bottles as well. Even if this one is not up your alley, the video is kind of amusing and worth the minute to check it out.
soberdough We’ve been using beer bread mixes for years. They are simple and quick and make a tasty companion to simple dinners of chili or stew. They can also be an effective way to use that “great” beer that Uncle Johnny brought over for you for the holidays because he knows how much you love beer; and this set of flavored beer bread mixes conveniently comes in enough flavors to use up that whole 6 pack.
frausto-co-beer-deck-3  Here’s a thought:  Despite modern technology bringing us things like Sony PlayStation and the internet, the deck of cards is still around and standing its ground as a household necessity.  It can provide hours of entertainment whether you are earning your beer money playing poker, showing off your amazing balanced architectural skills by building a house of cards or doing magic tricks in hopes of someday joining up with Penn and Teller.  Now you can get even more bang for your buck and increase your beer savvy with The Beer Deck – a set of playing cards chock full of info on beer and brewing and sure to make you an ace on the subject.
Asheville Winter Warmer Fest 2015 One of the great things about a Christmas stocking is that it basically makes A) anything that goes into it a little gift and B) you can pretty much wrap the un-wrappable in it- i.e. a beer dinner or beer festival.  So while you can’t exactly wrap the event, you can certainly put a festive ribbon around the tickets (or the receipts for tix you purchased online), drop them right into that big red fuzzy sock and produce a pretty darn good response from your gift recipient.  For a few upcoming fest ideas, check out our Beer Festivals and Events page
Beerywood Sign Final (1) Speaking of wrapping gift receipts- we always love to hear the stories of our guests who surprised their beer lovin’ gift recipient with the ultimate stocking stuffer-one of our Beer Safari Weekends or Beercations. While some of our guests have put a message detailing the trip in an empty beer bottle and deposited that in the stocking, one of our favorites is the guest who told her husband he needed to take off time for a weekend away at a church retreat…needless to say, he was pretty surprised when he found out it was a beer treat, not a retreat!
