PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

By booking a tour with Provence Dreams LLC, Inc. d/b/a Bon Beer Voyage (herein after, “BBV”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. All bookings are subject to the Terms and Conditions in effect on the date of booking. Please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand your rights and obligations and our rights and obligations prior to booking.

Terms and Conditions

Included in the Tour Price:

  • Quality accommodations during the tour (double occupancy unless otherwise noted), as specified in the tour itinerary.
  • Meals as specified in the tour itinerary.
  • Tastings during Brewery visits
  • Experienced, English speaking tour leaders and guides
  • Ground transportation throughout the tour, as described in the itinerary.
  • Sightseeing as described in the tour itinerary.
  • Private guided tours, or special activities and events, as indicated in the tour itinerary.
  • All taxes on included hotels, meals and transportation.

Not Included in the Tour Price:

  • Airfare or other transportation to the tour starting point, and from the tour ending point.
  • Meals not specified in the itinerary.
  • Drinks with meals (normally not included, though some meals may include beer pairings or cocktails – this will be noted in the detailed itinerary for the tour).
  • Personal expenses such as laundry or telephone calls.
  • Expenses for any activities not included on the itinerary.
  • Passport or visa fees.
  • Gratuities for barge crew, guides, bus drivers & tour leaders.*Drinks/food during pub visits or beer hunting expeditions, unless included in itinerary.
  • Tour insurance coverage to cover tour cancellation or interruption, lost luggage, accidental death, medical expenses, emergency medical evacuation, or unavoidable flight delays. Please note: many personal health insurance plans don’t cover their participants while they are traveling out of the country.

No refund is given for any part of the tour in which you choose not to participate.

Reservations & Payments:

Prices are per person and based upon shared twin room occupancy.

A deposit of $500 per person for most international tours and for domestic tours of 5 days or more, and $250 for domestic tours of 4 days or less, is required at time of booking. ( please see separate deposit and cancellation terms for Italian tours below*)  Full payment by check or credit card is due no later than 100 days (70 days for domestic tours of 4 days or less) prior to departure. Checks can be mailed to BBV 6586 Hypoluxo Road Suite 269 Lake Worth, Fl 33467. BBV accepts payment via credit card, personal check or business check. All checks must be in US Funds from a US bank. Participants can submit a reservation with their deposit via the Internet, mail or by phone. Payments made by credit card will only be processed upon submission of a completed Credit Card Form. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. There will be a $30 fee for any Returned checks.

To secure reservations on a tour departing within 100 days, or (70 days for domestic tours) a full payment is required by check or credit card at the time of booking. Payment of your deposit indicates your acceptance of all Terms and Conditions. Final payment for all tours must be made in full to BBV at least 100 days prior to departure for international trips and 70 days prior to departure for domestic trips. Reservations will be cancelled if final payment is not received by the due date and cancellation charges will apply. Tour prices stated are per person and based on double occupancy. Every effort has been made to produce pricing information accurately. We reserve the right to correct errors.

Standby:

If a tour is already full, BBV will accept reservations on a standby-basis. Should space become available, the notified participant has the choice to join the tour by paying in full by credit card or forfeiting the space.

Cancellations and Refunds:

We realize that sometimes things don’t work out the way you planned. If you must cancel your reservation, notify us as in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.

You will be assessed a cancellation penalty depending on how far in advance we receive this notification, as shown on the accompanying chart. Cancellation penalties will include a non-refundable processing fee of $300 per person for each reservation you cancel for all International Tours and Domestic Tours of 5 days or more.  Cancellation penalties will include a non-refundable processing fee of $250 per person for each reservation you cancel for all Domestic Tours of 4 days or less.

Your experience with Bon Beer Voyage, and our investment into your trip, begins long before your trip departs. As part of your group tour package, we secure suppliers for accommodations, transportation, entrances, local guides, meals and more, months, if not years, in advance. Our  cancellation policies and non-refundable processing fees exist to cover the non-refundable costs that we pay in advance on behalf of our clients and to take into consideration the advance time and professional services rendered in planning these trips as well as the time and effort involved in re-selling any booking that has been cancelled.

You will receive a refund of all payments made to date, minus the applicable penalty. There are no exceptions to this policy, including weather, sickness, or terrorism. Should you have to cancel due to a medical emergency you may be able to submit a claim to your travel insurance carrier (we highly recommend you buy travel insurance)for Cancellations and Refunds. Refunds will be processed 30 days after our receipt of your written cancellation. Unless otherwise stated in the catalog, for all cancellations we will refund the cost of your tour less the following per-person charges. Charges shown include the $300 processing fee for International Tours and Domestic Tours of 5 days or more or the $250 processing fee for Domestic tours of 4 days or less.

*Due to the extreme demand for the amazing properties we are using for our Italy tours and the short time period between booking and the departure dates for our Italy tours, we have aligned our payment and cancellation policies with those of our Italian suppliers. This allows us to procure the best possible accommodations and experiences for you. Please note that if you are signing the Terms and Conditions for a tour in Italy with us, the following applies to your trip:

  • Initial non-refundable deposit due upon booking: $1250 per person
  • Final Payment Due 120 days prior to departure

Single supplements are considered part of the tour price and are subject to cancellation fees. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a tour early. Prices are quoted as a package, and no partial refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, or other tour arrangements, for any reason. Depending on the tour, Participant substitutions may be considered to be reservation cancellations and could be subject to the above cancellation fees. Please check with us when booking if this might be a consideration for you.

BBV cannot make exceptions to these cancellation policies for any reason, including personal emergencies and weather. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your tour.

Medical & Health Issues:

We cannot accommodate pregnant women. We also unfortunately cannot accommodate passengers requiring wheelchair assistance for our European tours and possibly some of our Domestic tours as most features of BBV tours are not wheelchair-accessible. We suggest you contact us to discuss your particular needs before booking.

Although our tours are not considered physically demanding in some cases, we may be on a walking tour or walking from the barge to town which would require walking on cobbled streets or for extended periods up to an hour. Your health and safety during your tour are our first concern, but BBV is not a medical facility. You should be in good health to participate in our vacations.

BBV reserves the right to decline any tour participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.

BBV is not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the tour. Under no circumstances is BBV responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof, you may receive while on the tour.

BBV tours does not permit smoking on any barges, buses, or other modes of transport hired by our group.

Trip Insurance:

Given the current global travel and health environment, all booked guests are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance prior to departure.

For eligible guests, travel insurance companies provide a broad range of benefits, with some plans temporarily including coverage for certain COVID-19-related expenses, subject to the plan terms. Before purchasing, guests should check with the provider for specific details on their coverage terms and policies.

Age Restrictions:

No one under the age of 21 will be permitted on our tours. Proof of age may be requested.

Solo Travelers:

All of our rooms or cabins are double occupancy, with two single beds on the barge. In hotels, different bedding configurations may apply. Since we operate smaller size groups a limited number of single rooms may be available at 150% of double occupancy rate.(occasional special single occupancy prices may apply) Please contact us to inquire about availability.

Additional hotel nights:

Please contact us if you are interested in extending your stay for any of our tours. Pre or post-tour nights at hotels can be requested and are subject to availability.

Travel documents:

Approximately two to three weeks prior to departure, you will receive a travel information package including your detailed itinerary.

Passports and Visas:

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas or passports are required.

Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their passport expiration date is within the validity period of the counties they will be traveling to. Some countries require that your passport be valid at least six months beyond the dates of your trip (this applies to Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands and is recommended for the United Kingdom. France requires a 3 month validity period).

Cancellation by BBV:

Though we do our best to avoid this, it may occasionally become necessary for BBV to cancel a tour.  We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to insufficient sign-up, or any other cause. If a tour is canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified at least 30 days in advance. In this case, you will receive a refund of all payment made to date, plus a discount voucher good toward any other BBV tour during the next 18 months.

Refund of payments made constitutes full settlement, and releases BBV from any further liability. BBV is not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by tour participants preparing for a canceled tour, such as nonrefundable airline tickets or passport fees.

If a tour is canceled due to natural disaster, strike, or other event outside our control, BBV shall not be held responsible; however, participants may elect to submit claims for reimbursement under any applicable insurance that participant may have.

Any cancellations by guests made prior to a cancellation by BBV will remain in penalty and will not receive any further reimbursements or refunds.

Tour changes:

Tour itineraries are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, transportation problems, or an unexpected business closure. Our tour leaders are experienced professionals, and may need to adjust the itinerary to compensate. We’re also continually looking for ways to improve our tours. We may have discovered a special new place since the itinerary was published, that we’d like to share with you. BBV reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time. We endeavor to keep tour costs as published. However, since tours are planned far in advance, we reserve the right to change the tour price due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme currency fluctuations.

Responsibility:

The responsibility of BBV its employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns (collectively BBV) is strictly limited. As a tour operator, BBV organizes, promotes, and sells tour tours consisting of certain travel services, including land and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, restaurant and cruise/barge/hotel accommodations that BBV purchases or reserves from various suppliers (collectively, “Suppliers”). BBV acts only in the capacity of agent for hotels, restaurants, transportation companies, equipment suppliers, and other suppliers of services. BBV does not own or operate any of these Suppliers. The Suppliers providing travel services for BBV’s tour tours are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of BBV. As a result, BBV is not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person, or of any other third party.

Some tours may include visits to shops or merchants. BBV is not responsible for any purchases you make during your tour, whether that merchant is part of the scheduled itinerary or not. By utilizing the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will look to such Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither BBV nor any representative of BBV shall be liable.

Without limitation, BBV is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from, but not limited to, acts of God or forces of nature, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, government restrictions or regulations, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, sickness or quarantine, epidemic or pandemic, exposure to any communicable illness or infectious disease, consumption of alcoholic beverages, risks associated with impure food or impure water dangers associated with animals or recreational activities, breakdown of equipment, high altitude, limited access to medical attention, and stolen, lost or misplaced luggage or property, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of BBV.

To the extent that BBV is involved in booking air, barge and/or cruise transportation for you, BBV acts as your agent and not as an agent of the air carrier and/or cruise line. For all other purposes, BBV does not act as an agent for any party whatsoever.

Photographs and Video for Promotional Materials:

BBV reserves the right to take photographs or make video records of any of its tours and to use any such photographs or videos for promotional and/or commercial purposes, as well as for use by third parties with whom BBV may engage in joint marketing, without financial remuneration to participants. Tour participants assign all right, title, and interest they may have in any and all media in which their name or likeness might be used to BBV.

Assumed Risk:

Travel has its own inherent risks, and the participant acknowledges such risks exist, up to and including death. BBV will take all reasonable precautions to insure the health and safety of the participant. The participant agrees to hold BBV, its employees and agents harmless should illness, accident or death occur. BBV is not responsible for the actions, expenses or harm incurred by participants who disregard the instructions of the BBV representative(s), participants who depart from the planned activities of the tour, or participants who follow the instructions of a non-BBV representative(s).

Covid 19:

Due to the constantly fluid situation surrounding Covid 19, Vaccination, Booster and/or Testing Requirements vary from country to country. You will be required to meet the current requirements at the time of your tour for the country or countries in which you will be touring in order to participate in the tour.  Proof of vaccination and/or tests may be requested at embarkation/arrival.

Based on CDC recommendations, for domestic tours within the US, guests may be required to wear masks indoors unless they voluntarily wish to show proof of vaccination to appropriate personnel.

As CDC, state, national and international laws continue to change, BBV reserves the right to adapt requirements to protect the health and welfare of all passengers on any of their  tours, events or cruises.

All guests agree to take personal responsibility for their own health and well-being, to practice social distancing in public spaces, and to follow the instructions of local authorities, Bon Beer Voyage staff and their supplier partners regarding health protocols. If at any time just prior to or during the tour itself you develop a fever (100.4 F° / 38 C° or higher), feel feverish, have chills, a cough, difficulty breathing or other symptoms of COVID-19 it is your personal responsibility to protect others and remove yourself from the tour and seek medical attention and/or testing. Noncompliance with these measures by you or your traveling party may result in your party not being able to continue on your Bon Beer Voyage journey. Noncompliance with these measures could have serious public health implications and may result in removal from tour at guest’s own expense.

Some travel insurance companies offer coverage for Covid related claims.  We highly recommend ALL travelers obtain travel insurance to protect their travel investment. Always read through any policy that you purchase to be sure that you are properly covered for your needs.

Participation:

BBV reserves the unilateral right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant at any time. A tour participant may be restrained from further participation if, in BBV’s sole judgment, the individual’s actions impede the operation of the tour, pose a threat to the health, welfare or enjoyment of any group participant, or are unsuitable for group travel. Participants agree to follow all rules of safety and conduct presented by BBV.

BBV runs a number of tours based on the enjoyment of Beer, wine and spirits, however, participants are expected to act responsibly where alcohol is involved.

In the event that a participant is removed from a tour, BBV will not refund any monies. transportation costs to return home, airline penalties, and any other expenses will be the responsibility of the participant.

In the event that a participant voluntarily chooses to leave a tour, BBV will require a written, signed statement of the participant’s intent to depart from the tour. In the event that a participant voluntarily departs from a tour, BBV will not refund any monies. Transportation costs to return home, airline penalties, and any other expenses will be the responsibility of the participant.

Only registered BBV guests will be allowed to join us while we are on tour during: brewery or winery visits; guided walking tours; guided trolley tours; motor coach transfers; on-board our canal boat; group meals and/or any other group event on the itinerary.

Applicable Law:

Any disputes concerning or relating to this contract, any other literature concerning your tour, or the tour itself, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any claims against BBV must be brought in the Federal or State Courts located in the State of Florida, to the exclusion of the Courts of any other state and country.

You will need to print out a copy of the Terms and Conditions for your records. Please read it thoroughly, sign and return this signature page to BBV. If you choose not to fill this form online you may print this form out and  fax or mail your signed form to BBV at least 30 days prior to tour departure. This is required for you to participate in the tour. If your signed form is not received at least 30 days prior to departure, BBV has the right to consider your reservation canceled.

As lawful consideration for being permitted to participate on any BBV tour(s) I hereby acknowledge all of the Terms and Conditions on the previous pages and hereby release and discharge forever BBV from and against any and all liability arising from my participation in the tour. I agree that this release shall be legally binding upon me personally, all members of my family, my and their heirs, successors, assigns, and legal representatives. IT IS MY INTENTION TO FULLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS TOUR, AND TO RELEASE BBV FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.


I agree to take personal responsibility for my health and well-being, to practice social distancing in public spaces, and to follow the instructions of Bon Beer Voyage staff and their supplier partners regarding health protocols.  I understand that if at any time just prior to or during the tour itself I develop a fever (100.4 F° / 38 C° or higher), feel feverish, have chills, a cough, difficulty breathing or other symptoms of COVID-19 I will take personal responsibility to protects others and remove myself from the tour and seek medical attention and/or testing. I understand that noncompliance with these measures by myself or my traveling party will result in our party not being able to continue on this Bon Beer Voyage journey. I pledge that the above declarations are true and understand that any dishonest answers may have serious public health implications.

This Agreement may be executed in multiple counterparts, each of which will be deemed an original, but all of which will constitute one and the same instrument. Facsimile or electronic signatures will have the same effect as original signatures.
