Belgium Beer Spotlight – Bossuwé Brewing Co

I recently had the good fortune of meeting Géraldine Legein & Gaëtan Vandenbulcke, founders of Bossuwé Brewing Co, at a Belgian Beer Week event at the Flanders Investment and Trade office in NYC. While I admit what first attracted me to their table was not the beer, but their monkey logo (I have a special place in my heart for monkeys), I was pleased to discover that they did not ‘monkey around’ when it came to producing good beer. Hop onto their website and you’ll see that they really have something special going on. Their talent and creativity is showcased just as well through their entertaining blog as it is with their wide range of tasty, award-winning beers.

Their beer is not yet available here in the US, but they’re working on that.  Meanwhile, you can find it in Belgium and fortunately for our Beercationers, we will be mooring nearby their home base one evening during our upcoming Belgium and France Beercation Cruise itinerary and plan on sharing some beers with our new friends.

Straight from the Monkey’s Mouth

I asked them to tell us a little about their brewery and plans to move into the US market and was honored to not only receive a response from Géraldine and Gaëtan, but also from Tony, the monkey!
