Tours and Sightseeing Designed to Share the Best of Each Region:
Paris:
A gourmet dinner cruise on the Seine River- Private VIP visits and tastings at some of the coolest breweries in Paris, including O’clock Brewing and Gallia
- Private guided visit of the Chateau de Versailles
- Additional Parisian Monument/Must See Visits
- Visit to the Ateliers de Lumieres– a truly exceptional art/light/music show with changing artists every year.
- Beer Hunting at some of Paris’ awesome Craft Beer Bars, i.e. Hoppy Corner, La Robe et La Mousse, Atalante
Cognac:
Private visits and tastings in some of the Grand Cognac houses, i.e Remy Martin and Hennessy as well as special visits to smaller family owned distilleries.- Private Cognac Master Class with a local specialist.
- Private Visit to a Tonnellerie (Cooperage) to see how the barrels used for our delicious beverages are painstakingly made and why they are so expensive!
Bordeaux:
- Visit to the Cite du Vin
- Visit to the Charming medieval village of St. Emilion, a Unesco World Heritage Site
- Visits and tastings of delicious Bordeaux wines from vineyards on both banks of the Garonne River
- Optional beer hunting in Bordeaux for those that want to keep the beer flowing even after the wine
As always, we have arranged for private VIP tours and tastings, great local guides, daily breakfasts, some amazing dinners including a multi-course gourmet dinner cruise on the Seine and a dinner at our inn overlooking the vineyards of Cognac. There will be 5 dinners and 4 lunches, leaving you a few opportunities for you to explore the local culinary offerings on your own, as well.
There will be some special pairing experiences, including a beer paired meal at La Fine Mousse Restaurant in Paris and some surprising Cognac pairings as well!
This tour will be run on land, moving between properties only twice, so that we have time to experience each of these 3 distinct areas like locals, but spend minimal time packing/unpacking. Our Paris and Bordeaux properties place us in perfect locations to easily explore by foot or public transportation during free time on our own as well as when we are with the group. Pre and post days are available as well, if you’d like a little more time in either location and the Cognac property is in such a beautiful setting that you won’t want to leave !The dates run through the first week of September so that the vineyards are lush and we are able to take advantage of Labor Day weekend.
